Mr. Arthur “A.D” Bell, age 96, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, July 18, 2012.

Mr. Bell was a WWII Veteran , serving the U.S. Army. He was a General Electric retiree and a member of First Christian Church of Tyrone.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Bessie “Betty” Bell of Fayetteville; daughters, Janet Caldwell and husband, Pete of Fayetteville; Diane Harwell and husband, David of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Lindsay Cleven and husband, Todd, Shelby Harwell, Michael Boyd and wife, Julie, Andy Caldwell and wife, Teresa, Jason Caldwell; great grandchildren, Rylin Cleven, Hailey Cleven, Kylie Boyd, Calvin Boyd, Ryan Boyd, Tyler Caldwell, Shea Caldwell, Raina Caldwell.

A funeral service was held Friday, July 20, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Minister Billy Rowe officiating.
