Legacy Christian Church invites everyone in the community to an open house at its new Worship and Education Center on Saturday, July 7 from 2 – 4:30 p.m. Light refreshments and information about the church will be provided.

The following morning, Legacy will open its doors for the first worship service in its new facility.

Legacy Christian Church purchased 20 acres just below the base of the tower on the corner of Rockaway Road and Heritage Point Parkway in August of 2010. Over the past nine months members have been building an 18,000 sq. ft. worship and education center and are set to open its doors for worship on Sunday, July 8.

Legacy is a three year old church with nearly 300 members and regular Sunday attendance of 220 and growing. The church has been worshipping in The Bedford School in Fairburn since 2009 and even though that location isn’t ideal for the members or outreach the church has grown steadily.

Legacy Christian Church is a non-denominational church with four full-time staff including a full time student minister for middle and high school youth, and a full-time children’s minister.

The new building is designed to be functional and will seat 400 for a worship service. It was also designed to reflect the architecture of Senoia. Simple touches like arched windows and street lamps were selected to embrace the community where the church will worship and serve. Legacy is easily accessible from either Fayette or Coweta County.

Church members say they are excited they’ve been received with open arms by the City of Senoia and the people of the community.

Legacy is at 1150 Rockaway Rd., about one mile from Ga. Highway 74 on the right below the water tower. For more information, contact Legacy at 770-599-3366 or go to www.legacysenoia.org.
