Registration is still open for Winshape Camps for Communities which will be hosted by Heritage Christian Church, July 9-13. The day camp is open to all students who have completed first through sixth grade. Camp runs from 7:45 a.m.- 5 p.m. Cost is $184 for a full week of camp. A deposit of $50 is due upon registration.
“WinShape Camps For Communities combines sports and recreation, arts, Bible study & worship for a truly unforgettable week of life change” a spokesperson said.
According to Tammy Pattison, C3 Camp director for Heritage Christian, “We consider ourselves partners with WinShape Camps and Connect Ministries as we bring this church camp experience to our community. Our goal is to bring the community together as we try to open the doors for children of all backgrounds to experience this incredible summer camp experience.”
The day camp was first held in 2008. This will be the fifth year that Heritage Christian Church has hosted WinShape’s Camps for Communities.
Pattison adds, “We intend on offering a scholarship program available for those who need financial assistance and would not otherwise be able to attend camp.”
