McIntosh goes ‘Into the Woods’ next week

McIntosh High School’s Fine Arts Department presents Stephen Sondheim’s famed musical Into the Woods on April 13-15 at the MHS Auditorium. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the MHS front office for $7, or at the door for $10.

Come out and join us for this beautiful portrayal of all your favorite fairytales and folktales combined into one.

See some notable characters played by Peachtree City locals. Nora Wilfong tells the tale as the Narrator, while Camille Edwards and Cole Oslund sing beautiful melodies as Cinderella and her Prince. Kelly McCarty skips to her fate as the bold Little Red, and Marguerite Murrell belts some ballads, lullabies, and even raps as the Witch. Other stars include Daniel Griffin as young Jack from the beanstalk and Leah Larson as Jack’s mother; Nathan Pearson and Emma Widtfeldt as the Baker and his Wife; Emily Miller and Mark Bost as Rapunzel and her prince; Kaylee Lloyd, Shelby Bock, Olivia Homer, and Chris Hoyt as Cinderella’s wicked family; Maria McCranie as Cinderella’s loving but late mother; Jonah Wagoner as the Mysterious Man; Theresa Jones as the Steward and Little Red’s Granny; and Katie McKeill as Snow White.
