PTCUMC will host biblical meal

A biblical Meal will take place on Maundy Thursday, April 5, from 6-8:30 p.m. at Peachtree City United Methodist Church, 225 Robinson Rd. in Peachtree City. The meal will be a time of learning and worship for the celebration of Christ’s Last Supper.

A guest presenter from the Antiquity Center in LaGrange will lead with scriptural teachings on the Last Supper in the context of the Passover and first century middle-eastern culture.

A Mediterranean meal (simple foods: fruits, nuts, dips, bread, chicken, olives, lentil soup) with Passover elements will be served Mediterranean style (eaten by hand). The teaching and the meal will be followed by Holy Communion.

The event is open to all ages. Childcare is available by reservation only for birth-Pre-K.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-10 years (there is a $30 maximum cost per family). Tickets are available for purchase in the church office. Call for information, 770-487-6499.
