The Clyde Thomason Detachment of the Marine Corps League congratulates Thomas Bestul, Rick Alicea, and Jeremy Herrera on achieving Boy Scout’s highest rank, Eagle Scout.  These young men are members of Boy Scout Troop 181. They were promoted to their present rank during an Eagle Scout Court of Honor held at the Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 101 N. Peachtree Pkwy in Peachtree City on March 10.

The Clyde Thomason Detachment recognizes the hard work, disciple, and dedication to purpose necessary for young men to achieve the Eagle Scout rank.  Detachment members are available upon request to present a Marine Corps League certificate at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor.  The Detachment Eagle Scout coordinator can be reached at eaglescoutcoordinator@mcl1325.net.  Or contact the Detachment Commandant at commandant@mcl1325.net.

Members of the Marine Corps League join together in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving the traditions and promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps, banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service that they may effectively promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy, voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all Marines, FMF Corpsmen (Active, Reserve, Retired and Honorably Discharged) and to their widows and orphans; and to perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.
