Mr. and Mrs. John R. Hanson II of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Hanson, to Tyler Jonathan Durham, son of Corrine and the late Bill Culbreth of Fayetteville, N.C. and William Durham of Loris, S.C.
The bride-to-be works as a Senior Program Manager for the New York City Dept. of Education. She is a graduate of Woodward Academy, graduated from Colby College, with a Bachelor of Arts, and graduated with a Master’s in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University.
She is the granddaughter of Jane Whitmore of Salisbury, Md. and the late Mr. Joseph Miles of Pennsville N.J., and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Hanson of Peachtree City, Ga.
The groom-elect is the Managing Director of Ketchum Pleon Change, the global change management consultancy of Ketchum Public Relations.
He graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Arts and received his MBA from Vanderbilt University. Prior to his consulting career, Tyler served as an officer in the US Army.
A May 19, 2012, wedding is planned at Seabrook Island, S.C. The couple, and their black Labrador Retriever, Luke, currently reside in New York City.
