Lieutenant Colonel Anne Marie (Forrester) Muska, age 48, loving wife and devoted mother went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 23.
A resident of Peachtree City, Ga. since 1993, Anne was surrounded by friends and family during her final hours on earth.
Anne embraced life to the fullest, and made the world a better place. Her uplifting spirit, humble nature, and heartfelt laughter enriched the lives of those she touched. Anne was an accomplished marathon runner, with an outstanding career in the Army, but most of all Anne loved her family. Anne and her adoring husband, Rob, were married for twenty five years. They were blessed with three amazing sons, Robby 21 years old; Michael, 18 years old; and Johnny, 11 years old. Anne embraced motherhood. She cherished her children and they treasured her.
Anne graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1985. She proudly served her country for over 20 years in the United States Army as a Logistics Officer. Anne retired from the U.S Army Forces Command as a Lieutenant Colonel (FORSCOM) at Fort McPherson in 2008.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents John and Patt Forrester.
Survivors include her husband Robert F. Muska; sons, Robert Forrester Muska, Michael John Muska, and John Stephen Muska; mother, Mirna E. Forrester; brothers, John T. Forrester and Daniel J. Forrester; sisters, Mary F. Brendes, Patricia M. Walsh, twin sister, Rose M. Burwell; and best friend, Ginni Guiton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Peachtree City United Methodist Church.
