I too, was not surprised to read about the schoolbus accident last week, but for an entirely different reason.
How can we expect one human being to properly supervise 20-30 children and safely operate a large vehicle such as a schoolbus?
I understand the financial constraints on the taxpayers, but how can our children be safe on the bus unless the driver is allowed to devote full attention to driving while a bus monitor maintains order an discipline?
