Sen. Mike Crane (R-Newnan) will sponsor 20 legislative pages from District 28 on Wednesday, Feb. 8 and Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the Georgia State Capitol.

“This is an incredible opportunity for students to get a first-hand look at the legislative process and observe state leadership at work,” said Sen. Crane. “Many of those currently working in government affairs and public policy initially discovered their interest while serving as a student page. It is my hope that the pages who serve will walk away from this experience inspired to continue their involvement in perpetuating the principles of liberty through active participation in our government process.”

Ten pages will serve each day and deliver important information and messages to state senators in the Senate Chamber. Pages will work from the convening of the daily session until the final adjournment.

Pages must be at least 12 years old to participate in the program and will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each page will receive certificate of service and a small stipend.

Students who are interested in serving as a page should contact Sen. Crane’s office at 404-656-6446.
