Pastor Rhys Stenner and the Church Family of New Hope Baptist in Fayetteville will present the Third Annual Come Together Benefit Concert for Wellspring Living featuring a stellar list of renowned awarding winning gospel artists and the New Hope Baptist Church Choir and Orchestra. The concert is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. at New Hope. The cost is $20 per tocket, general admission.

“Last year’s sellout concert was a hugely successful night and a wonderful worship experience for everyone who joined us,” a spokesperson said. “This year promises to be more of the same. The 2011 Come Together Benefit Concert will feature Andrae’ Crouch, Vickie Winans, Anthony Evans, Babbie Mason, and Marvin Matthews. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Wellspring Living to raise awareness about the issue of human trafficking in Georgia.”

Atlanta is one of the top three cities in the nation for domestically trafficked American children. Wellspring Living aids in the restoration of women and girls who have been sexually abused or exploited in Georgia. There are approximately 100 girls under the age of 18 who are sexually trafficked on a typical night in Georgia. The average life expectancy of a girl in forced prostitution is seven years with homicide or HIV/AIDS as the cause of death. Wellspring has two residential homes where the girls have a safe place to receive therapy, counseling, education and learn valuable life skills.
