Mr. R. Frank Marshall, 92, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at Doctor’s Hospice in Fayettevile, Ga.
Mr. Marshall was born Dec. 27, 1918 in Long Hollow, Va. to the late Charlie and Ethel Marshall.
He retired as president of Central Georgia Production Credit Association, a division of the Federal Land Bank. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church, Fayetteville, Ga.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel Joy Thrailkill Marshall and two brothers.
He is survived by his son Clifton (Kip) Marshall & wife Mary Lou and their two children Michaela Joy Marshall and Christopher Eugene Franklin Marshall.
Funeral services for Mr. Marshall will be held Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City, Ga. with Dr. Jerry Cross officiating. Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, Ga.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011 at the funeral home.
