0A Peachtree City mail carrier has been charged with stealing gift cards that were supposed to be delivered to addresses along his route, police said.
John Breedlove, 42, of Baltic Drive, Sharpsburg, was arrested today on eight counts of misdemeanor theft by taking and one count of failure to keep medicine in its original container, police said.
The investigation began when Breedlove’s personal vehicle caught fire in the parking lot of the Peachtree City Post Office Aug. 8, police said.
An arson investigation is also being conducted in relation to the fire, police said.
