A McDonough man on Oct. 24 entered a guilty plea in Coweta County Superior Court on charges of computer pornography and child exploitation related to an undercover operation conducted by the Senoia Police Department.
The guilty plea entered by Marc B. Babischkin, 47, followed a September indictment by the Coweta County Grand Jury on charges of computer pornography, child exploitation and obscene Internet contact with a child, according to Senoia Police Investigator Alicia Batts.
The undercover operation was conducted with Batts posing as a juvenile female.
Believing the investigator to be a juvenile, Babischkin used the Internet, electronic devices and cellular service to solicit and entice her to participate in acts relating to the offenses of child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and creating and sending child pornography, police said.
Babischkin during the investigation sent numerous photographs of male genitalia and used explicit descriptions of sexual conduct when communicating with Batts, police said.
Babischkin was indicted by the Coweta County Grand Jury in September and appeared in Coweta County Superior Court on Oct. 24 where he entered a guilty plea. Sentencing in the case is pending.
