Steele responsible for many F’ville benefits

Why are the negative blogs against incumbent Mayor Ken Steele written by the same five or six people who recycle the same blatherings and make it look like theirs is the “voice of the people?”

The irony is that these anonymous ranters who complain about how bad things have become are likely the same people who moved to Fayetteville because of its positive attributes.

Not much is different now other than improvements such as brick-paved sidewalks, new street lights, award-winning Mainstreet District and police department, quality concert venue, miles-long exercise path, Patriot Park, flowered medians, monthly fresh markets and the successful roundabout at Grady/Beauregard.

Most importantly, Fayetteville’s city taxes have remained stable for 10 years and are some of the lowest of any Georgia city.

Those of us who actually live or work in Fayetteville realize how valuable Mayor Steele is to this community. I have had a business in Fayetteville for 19 years and have owned property here for 13 years. I am proud that Ken Steele is my mayor and thank him for his leadership and accomplishments.

Re-elect Mayor Steele if you’re happy with what Fayetteville has become and its direction.

If you can stomach the public circus and look-at-me politics like some in the County Commission, then vote for the unknown other guy. But please don’t later complain that you don’t like what the city has become.

Fayetteville business/property owner,

Mike Hofrichter
