Inman United Methodist Church, 151 Hills Bridge Road, Fayetteville, will hold its annual Trunk or Treat – “Light the Night for Jesus” – event on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Everything is free and open to the community.

The event will feature games, hay rides, pony rides, and inflatables beginning at 5:30 p.m. Trunk or Treat will begin promptly at 8 pm.

This year church members will promote Food Allergy Awareness. Inman UMC will provide a safe environment for food allergy kids to enjoy the festivities of the season. The event recognizes the dangers presented by the big eight food allergens: cow’s milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, and wheat. “Safe” trunks will be marked with a Big Eight Safe sign. The kitchen will have a menu that lists all ingredients of all processed foods. Food allergy parents can rest assured that they have a safe place to bring their children to trick-or-treat.

Those who have questions may contact the church office at 770-461-2123 or Ms. Corley at 770-461-6765.
