A former employee of the north Zaxby’s store in Fayetteville has pled guilty to robbing the store back in 2007.

Erica Tiggs was sentenced last week to two years in prison followed by 13 years on probation along with a $4,000 fine. Tiggs also must pay restitution to Zaxby’s and also to State Farm Insurance.

Tiggs was arrested in December 2010 after a DNA sample tied her to the incident at the restaurant at Ga. Highway 85 North near the Fayette Pavilion, police said.

On Aug. 6, 2007, two suspects entered the restaurant, forced the employees into a cooler and robbed the store of approximately $2,000 in cash, police said.
