The largest band event in the county is taking place September 27 at Fayette County High as all five high school marching bands and a combined middle school band take to the field to entertain audiences.

The performances are part of the sixth annual Fayette County Marching Band Exhibition. The event gives bands the opportunity to showcase their talents to the community in one location. Attendees will also get a sneak peek at future up and coming marching band members as eighth grade students from all six middle schools combine for a performance.

Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for students.

The performance schedule is as follows:
6 p.m. Combined Middle School Band
6:30 p.m. McIntosh High
7 p.m. Sandy Creek High
7:30 p.m. Starr’s Mill High
8 p.m. Whitewater High
8:30 p.m. Fayette County High
