Ruth Strozier Malone, 87, of Fayetteville, passed away August 21, 2011.
Mrs. Malone was employed by the Fayette County Board of Education as a bus driver and retired after 10 years.
Mrs. Malone was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin “Ben” F. Malone, Jr., her son,
Eli Floyd Malone and her parents Lucius W. Strozier and Mae Belle Langley Strozier.
She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Porter and her husband Everett of Woodstock; brother-in-law
Thomas Malone and his wife Sylvia of Jacksonville, AL; sister-in-law Eugenia Zallen and her
husband Harold of Auburn, AL; niece Katherine Malone-France and her husband Derek of
Washington, D.C.
Services for Mrs. Malone will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the
Perpetual Care of Camp Hill Cemetery, Box 217, Camp Hill, AL 36850.
