Harold Ottis Kelley, Jr., of Fayetteville, GA, age 75, passed away on July 29, 2011, after an extended battle with cancer.
He grew up in Hapeville, GA, and graduated from Hapeville High School in 1954 and Young Harris College in 1956. Harold was a Mason and was employed with Southern Bell for 22 years. He was also a professional square dance caller for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Frances “Tink” Kelley of Fayetteville; son, Bryant Kelley, Plano, TX; daughter, Bernice Crowe, Fayetteville; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service to celebrate Harold’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 3, 2011, in the chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, (no suits or dark colors, per his request.) In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
