Alyce Irene Menet, age 89, of Newnan, GA went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2011.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., on July 28, 1922 to the late Eric and Olga Anderson. She lived in Vista, CA for many years and was a retired employee of the state of California. She moved to Newnan in 2002 and she was a member of Peachtree City Church of Christ.
Alyce was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Ernest Menet.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Ernie (Judy) Menet, of Newnan, GA, Rob (Barbara) Menet, of Fair Oaks, CA, Tom (Kathy) Menet, of Brunswick, Maine; 4 granddaughters, Julie Ross, Nicole McBride, Jessica and Megan Gentry; 2 great-grandsons, Alex and Max McBride; and two brothers, Arthur and Arnold Anderson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA with Dr. Aubrey Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Peachtree City Church of Christ China Mission Fund.
