Harold E. Barnett, 74, of Fayetteville, GA, passed away on June 16, 2011.
He was born in Atlanta, GA on July 27, 1936 to the late Thomas S. and Annie Lou Barnett. He served 2 years in the US Marine Corps and 3 years in the US Army. He was a member of the sheet metal workers of Amer Local 85. He retired from BH&W Sheet Metal Co. after 35 years. He grew up in Hapeville, GA, living in Fayetteville GA the last 35 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife Mary Barnett and his brother Tom Barnett.
He is survived by brothers, Bill (Carolyn) Barnett and Wayne (Nancy) Barnett, all of Fayetteville; sister-in-law Gail Boling of Canton; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:30 AM to12:00 PM at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. The family will go in procession to the cemetery.
