Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Grebel, Jr. of Leesburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Marianne Alexis Grebel, to Thomas Jackson Brown IV, son of Ms. Mary Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jackson Brown III of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the maternal granddaughter of the late John (Rip) Coley Jr. of Cochran and Mrs. John Coley Jr. of Leesburg and Cochran, and the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grebel Sr. of Albany. She is a 2007 graduate of Lee County High School and a 2011 cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia with a major in advertising and a minor in agricultural business. She is employed as marketing and public relations director for Grebel Management Services, LLC in Leesburg.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Davis and the late James G. Hall of Hamilton and Mrs. Dorothy Brown and the late Thomas Jackson Brown Jr. of Columbus, Ga.. A 2005 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School, he is also a 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in civil engineering. He is employed as an efficiency engineer for Grebel Pecan Services, Inc. of Leesburg.

An evening wedding is planned for Saturday, July 30, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Albany with a reception at Doublegate Country Club. Following a honeymoon to Mexico, the couple will reside in the Albany/Leesburg area.
