0Mr. and Mrs. Glen H. Blackston III of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Blackston, to Brad Adams, son of Andy and Kay Adams of Winston Salem, N.C. and Jay and Janine Updyke of Peachtree City.
The bride to be is a 2006 graduate of Landmark Christian High School and 2010 graduate of North Georgia College & State University.
The groom elect is a 2003 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School. He is currently completing his undergraduate degree at American Military University and is employed as a military contractor at Fort Gordon in Augusta.
The wedding is planned for June 25, 2011, at The Hazlehurst House in McDonough. The couple will reside in Grovetown.
