Two graduating seniors from Fayette County High School were selected to receive The American Legion School Award presented by the Fayette County Post 105. The award is a recognition for two seniors with the qualities of courage, honor, leadership, scholarship, service and patriotism. Pictured is Lanier Dixson, left, Legionnaire Bill Cain, and Zuri Knox. Lanier played football and is active in his church. He will be attending the Nashville Auto-Diesel College. Zuri is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America, played basketball and plans to earn a degree in Cosmetology. Photo/Special.
