Mr. Talmadge Lamar Williams, 83, of Fayetteville, passed away on May 22, 2011.
Mr. Williams retired from American Homes Products after 26 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed woodworking, playing his guitar and sketching and was also a member of McDonough Road Baptist Church for 38 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Marian Williams; daughter Sandra Moore and her husband Mike of Alpharetta; grandson Kevin Stephens and his wife Heidi of Senoia; great-grandson Justin Stephens; step-brothers, Harold Turner and his wife Jean of Fayetteville, Buren Turner of Jonesboro and Larry Turner and his wife Sandra of Fayetteville.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Dr. David Chancey officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
