0Mr. Jesse Edwin Powell of Fayetteville died May 16, 2011.
Mr. Powell was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired from Delta Air Lines.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Doris Powell of Fayetteville; daughters Linda Kay Faia and her husband Robert of Isle of Palms, SC; stepchildren James Bobbitt and his wife Cathy of Peachtree City; Brenda Dover and her husband Ted of Charlotte, NC; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister Mrs. Marie McEwen of Fitzgerald; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 4:30 PM at the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son, Peachtree City, GA with Rev. Scott Pickering and Rev. Tommy Quinn officiating. Interment services will immediately follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:30 PM prior to the service.
