Connie J. Walton, 90, of Fayetteville

Connie J. Walton, 90, of Fayetteville, passed away May 6, 2011.

Mrs. Walton was a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, the East Point Women’s Club, and the Mary Martha circle at FFUMC. Mrs. Walton was also retired from the Fulton County Board of Education.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, James D. Walton; daughter Miriam Hannah of Griffin, Carol & Jerry Light of Fayetteville, and Donna & Jonathan Galucki of Buford; grandchildren Annette, Arlene, Deborah, Jerry, Matt, Andrew, Christa, and Will.; 4 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mark Westmoreland officiating. The burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The family requests donations be made to Southwest Christian Hospice at swchristiancare.org.
