Fifth grade student, Eric Flandermeyer, won the District Attorney’s 5th annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Essay/Art Contest at Kedron Elementary School. Flandermeyer, a student in Mrs. Lynne Tait’s class, wrote about the dangerous and selfless job that our police officers have. “We should honor the police” is the main thought of Flandermeyer’s essay. Flandermeyer will attend the Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet on May 5, where his essay will compete with others from students in Fayette County.
