Mr. Ven I. Gella, 63, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011.
Mr. Gella was born on May 24, 1947 in the Philippines. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy. After serving in the Navy he began his career with Pan Am and later retired from Delta Air Lines. He was currently employed at World Airways.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Minnie R. Gella; daughter Stephanie (Andrew) Alfonso; son Steven (Jennifer) Gella; daughter Sheryl (Michael) Campbell; grandchildren, Chance, Flora, Kalani, Elika, Ava, Oliver and Olivia; sister Brenda (Robert) Klebahn.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Father Tim Ryan will officiate. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
