Teresa Margaret Sheehan Eiswerth, 80, of Peachtree City, GA died March 12, 2011. Born in Chicopee, MA and raised in Sunbury, PA, Terry was the oldest of four children of Thomas and Fanny Sheehan. Teresa graduated from Penn State University in 1951 with a degree in Education- Math and History. She settled in Bradfordwoods, PA with her husband, Edwin Eiswerth, and family.
She worked a great deal in the community serving on the PTA, active in couples club, working at the voting polls but her passion was teaching leaders in outdoor survival and camping skills with The Girl Scouts. She later enjoyed international travel visiting family in Germany, Austria, and Australia but most often traveling over the world with one of her surviving sisters, Kathy Morrell. Terry retired from Northland Public Library in 2001 when she and her husband moved to Peachtree City.
She is survived by her three children, Edwin Eiswerth & wife Forcela of Peachtree City, Barbara Eiswerth & husband William Aymard of Tucson, AR and Amanda K. Eiswerth & husband Mark Ott of Peachtree City, GA; 3 grandchildren; brother Thomas Sheehan of New Jersey, sisters Joyce Newton of New Hampshire & Kathy Morrell of FL.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son, Peachtree City with Deacon Gayle Peters officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
