William (Bill) Richard Pieschke, 85, of Peachtree City, GA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mathilda Pieschke and sister, Marion Larson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lucille Kareus Pieschke, his three daughters, Debra Mahaney (Tom) of Fulton, MO, Janet Kase (Terry) of Peachtree City, GA and Bonnie Wescott (Mike) of Charlevoix, MI, eleven grandchildren, five step grandchildren, 21 great grand children, brother Walter Pieschke (Maxine), brother Robert Pieschke (Lorraine), sister Carol Parsons (Merrill) and grand-dog Rolo.
Bill was born on May 1, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan. He spent many years in Michigan as a builder and co-owner of Saginaw Bearing Company. He spent his retirement years in Maggie Valley, NC and moved to Peachtree City, GA in 2005. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life Memorial service on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City, GA. The family requests memorials be made to Healthfield Hospice, 2525 Hwy 34 E, Newnan, GA 30265 or Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church, 101 Carriage Lane, Peachtree City, GA 30269.
