Mr. David Morris Hill, 85, of Fayetteville

Mr. David Morris Hill, 85, of Fayetteville, passed away on March 3, 2011.

Mr. Hill proudly served in the U.S. Marines and then retired as master sergeant in the U.S. Army. He later retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 20 years dedicated service. He was an active member of McDonough Road Baptist Church .

Mr. Hill is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Frances Hill; daughters Debbie Schrepfer and her husband Mike of Newnan, and Glinda Hill Coleman of Newnan; grandson David Schrepfer and his wife Amanda; granddaughter Jennifer Warren and her husband Marcus; great-grandchildren, Dakoah Schrepfer, Jacob and Andrew Warren; four sisters and four brothers, all of NC.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Dr. David Chancey officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
