John Ellis Pendergrass, Jr., 52, of Tyrone, died February 7, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his father John Pendergrass, Sr.
He is survived by his mother Marlene Pendergrass of Tyrone; daughters Rebecca and Grace Pendergrass, both of Tyrone; grandchild McKayla Cawthon of Tyrone; sister Patricia and Knox Brand of Tyrone; niece Patricia and James Ryan of West Hartford, CT; nephew Knox Brand III of Athens; cousin Carroll and Beverly Byrom of Tyrone.
John was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. He was loved by everyone that knew him, including his children, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 11, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Hopewell United Methodist Church, Tyrone. Burial will follow at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM both nights at the funeral home.
