0Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church will celebrate the festival of the Transfiguration of Our Lord this weekend.
The Christ Our Shepherd Brass will play preludes at the Sunday morning sanctuary services, and they will join the choir, handbells, organ, piano and congregation in offering a new anthem of praise. The high school clown troupe will provide children’s sermons.
Ash Wednesday services are at 12:15 and 7 p.m. on March 9. A soup supper is provided before the evening service.
The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City.
