History became reality recently for all fourth graders at Fayetteville Intermediate School. The classes celebrated “Williamsburg Day” to conclude their unit of study on Colonial Life. The students were engaged in various centers throughout the day to experience what life might have been like during colonial times. Pictured in period costumes are Miss Amanda Underwood, FIS fourth grade teacher, and Mr. Jimmy Jones, volunteer, with Carlee Houston, Brieann Heinssen, and Zack Scott, who are fourth graders at FIS.
