Mr. Henry Allen Smith, 58, of Brooks, passed away on January 25, 2011.
Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents William Smith and Katheryne Stephenson Smith.
He is survived by his son Eric Smith of Brooks; two daughters, Amy Story of Loganville, and Christie Nelson of Brooks; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Tom Smith of Brooks, US Ambassador Jim Smith of Saudi Arabia, John Smith of Oxford, England, and Marion Smith of Brooks; sister Dr. Harriet Smith of Pelham, NY; Aunt and Uncle Caroline and Jimmy Barcheldor of Phoenix City, AL; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 4:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Habitat for Humanity, http://www.habitat.org.
