Country music artist Randy Houser was a one-man show Thursday morning for the opening of the Sam’s Club at Fischer Crossings. Houser opened the ribbon-cutting ceremony by singing the national anthem and later sang a number of selections for fans. Employees at the new 136,000 square-foot Sam’s Club, the company’s largest store in the Southeast, were met by long lines of customers when the doors opened for the first time at 8:30 a.m. Sam’s Club is the first retailer to open at the Fischer Crossings retail development located at Ga. Highway 34 and Fischer Road in east Coweta County.
