Mr. Calvin L. Fralish, of Peachtree City, passed away on January 21, 2011 at the age of 82.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather best remembered by his grandchildren for their special times on golf cart rides and the way he loved to spoil them. He was an avid golfer who belonged to the Canongate Country Club where he was a part of the “Fryer Group.” Mr. Fralish attended the Christ’s Church at Whitewater where he was a member of the Challenger Sunday School class. He was a longtime employee of MARTA and retired as the Overhaul Shop Foreman after 38 years of service.
Mr. Fralish is survived by his wife of 60 years, Annie (Anne) Fralish; son Derral Fralish of Peachtree City; daughter Deborah Fralish Jones and her husband Thomas F. Jones of Johnson City, TN; grandchildren Tammy Fralish Privette and her husband Kevin, Christopher Fralish and his wife Allyson, Jeffrey Fralish, Claire Fralish Cayton, Angela Fralish, Melanie Jones Totman and her husband Jade, Thomas F. Jones, III and his wife Stephanie, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City with Pastor Stephen Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
