Peachtree City UMC will start new GriefShare session Jan. 13

GriefShare meetings Thursday, Jan. 13, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 308 at the church, 225 Robinson Rd., Peachtree City.

This is a support group for persons experiencing grief following the death of a friend or family member.

“Anyone experiencing grief finds sharing with others helpful when the others understand and share that experience,” a spokesperson said. “No one should go it alone.”

The cost is $18 dollars for workbooks. Scholarships are available if needed.

The group meets weekly on Thursday evenings for 14 weeks and is open to anyone in the community who needs it. No preregistration is required.
