Peachtree City Police early Wednesday arrested two Atlanta men in connection with three Christmas week residential burglaries. A third Atlanta man was arrested Wednesday afternoon. All three are charged in the three residential burglaries in the Smokerise and Kedron Hills subdivisions.

Kareem Quintez Moreland, 22, Duntavious Rashard Moreland, 20, and Matthew Bryant, 20, were each charged with three counts of burglary in connection with the Smokerise and Kedron Hills break-ins, according to department spokesperson Rosanna Dove.

“The investigation led officers to the (Moreland) residence in Atlanta where several items that had been stolen during the burglaries were located,” Dove said in relation to the Moreland arrests. “In addition, other items that are not currently linked to these burglaries were located within the residence. Both offenders were transported to the Fayette County Jail where they await court appearances.”

Dove also said Bryant was arrested Wednesday afternoon. He is currently being held at the Fulton County Jail on misdemeanor marijuana charges and will be transported to Fayette County.

Dove said detectives are currently investigating all circumstances of the crimes. She also advised that if residents witness anyone checking mailboxes, please write down the vehicle description, tag number, and occupant’s descriptions, and then call the Peachtree City Police Department immediately either at 911 or 770-461-4357.
