The NAACP Georgia State ACT-SO presents a pre-holiday showcase featuring multi-talents students around Georgia.

On Saturday, Dec. 18, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. students around Georgia who competed in ACT-SO will showcase their talents at the Banquet Hall and Conference Center, 820 Bethsaida Road in Riverdale. ACT-SO is an acronym for Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics, an annual competition where students earn money, scholarships, computers and other rewards at the NAACP National ACT-SO Olympics. Talents will be displayed in the areas of humanities, sciences, performing arts, visual arts and business/ entrepreneurship.

This is a fundraising opportunity to help the 2011 ACT-SO winners with travel and hotel accommodations to compete at the NAACP National ACT-SO Olympics of the mind in Los Angeles, California in July 2011.
