Mrs. Esta Elizabeth Thompson (Howell) died Sunday, November 14, 2010, age 97.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. “Slim” Thompson, and her son, Donald H. Thompson.
She is survived by her son Weyman E. Thompson of Newnan; daughter, Glenna T. Moss and her husband James of Fayetteville; sons, James Dell Thompson and his wife Jerry Anne of Wedowee , AL , and Richard C. Thompson and his wife Zandra of Newnan; daughter-in-law Rachel Lee Thompson of Morrow; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Tim Riordan officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
