The Charter Members of Word of God Lutheran Church in Peachtree City have announced their affiliation with the recently formed denomination North American Lutheran Church (NALC). The congregation will also have membership with Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC). Word of God Lutheran Church will be the first Lutheran Congregation in the Atlanta area to be associated with the NALC.
Hundreds of congregations across America are joining the NALC and LCMC. Word of God Lutheran Church is traditionally-grounded in its biblical teachings, consistent with scripture and the tradition of worship under Word and Sacrament.
The congregation temporarily is worshipping at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center in Peachtree City. Sunday worship service is held at 9:30 am (nursery provided) followed by Sunday School for children and adults. Some of the church’s ministries include Caring, Christian Education, Evangelism, and Youth & Children.
