Mr. Winston Erle “Wink” Moore , 67, of Fayetteville, passed away on October 21, 2010.
Mr. Moore was an aviation enthusiast who loved to fly. He was an aerobatic pilot as well as a commercial pilot for 33 years. He retired as a captain on the 747-400 for Northwest Airlines. He was a graduate of Auburn University and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Moore; step-daughters, Stacy (Jason) Harpole of Berryville, AR, and Shelly (Nathan) Rogers of LaVergne, TN; grandchildren, Jacy, Jason, Joelle and Jeffrey Harpole of Berryville, AR; and Coraline Rogers of LaVergne, TN; as well as many friends, including those at Bear Creek Airport, fellow pilot classmates and the Waffle House.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Kristin Heiden officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 at the funeral home.
