Mr. Travis Lamar Smith, 87, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010.
Mr. Smith proudly served in the U.S. Army and received a Purple Heart medal.
He is survived by his son Lee Blackstone; three grandchildren, Shannon, Ivy and Lindsay; five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Jonesboro with Dr. George Freeman officiating.
