Mr. Cleburn “Dick” Durward Tyree, 79, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2010.
Mr. Tyree proudly served his country in the USAF. After 32 years, he retired from Delta Air Lines as a foreman in the engine shop.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Brenda Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edna Thomas Tyree; daughters, Debbie (Jon) Taylor and Barbara (Darrell) Bruce; son Tom (Chris) Tyree; brother Vernon Tyree; son-in-law Garry Smith; grandchildren, Kelley, Blane, Patricia, Adam, Andrew, Zane, Leah, Owen, Matthew and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, McKenzie, Emily, Connor and Dawson.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Overton Chapel of Fayetteville First Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
