A large group of Coweta County residents were present at Saturday’s 11th Annual Southern Crescent Alzheimers Memory Walk held outside the Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater in Peachtree City. The 5K walk/run brought families from across metro Atlanta’s Southern Crescent to the event intended to continue the awareness of and foster research for the disease that has claimed the lives of more than 200,000 Georgians.
