Mt. Olive Women’s Revival starts tonight
Mt. Olive Baptist Church will host a Women’s Revival Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 6-8 nightly at 7 p.m. Additionally, Mt. Olive will celebrate Women’s Day Sunday Oct. 10, at the 11 a.m. service. Both men and women are invited to both events. Mt. Olive is at 1565 Ga. Hwy. 92 North, Fayetteville.

Prophet Chambers Revival set for Oct. 8
Christ Discipleship Ministries, 114 W. Campbellton St., Fairburn, will host a Prophet Chambers Revival Friday, Oct. 8, at 8 p.m. The speaker will be Prophet Timothy Frazier. The revivial will feature a time of prayer and body ministry. For directions, contact the CDM office, 770-969-8370. No nursery or childcare will be provided.

Flat Rock AME plans Women’s Day Oct. 10
Flat Rock AME Church will hold its annual Women’s Day celebration with a special service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 10. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Conitras Houston, pastor of St. Paul AME Church in Athens. Flat Rock is just off Ga. Highway 54 at 148 Old Chapel Lane, Fayetteville, just east of Adams Farm and just west of the Postal Distribution Center.

Hopewell plans blood drive this Sunday
Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will hold a quarterly Blood Drive Sunday, Oct. 10, from noon until 6 p.m. Donors must be at least 17 years old, in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds, and present a photo ID to donate blood. Southside will host Fall Festival
Southside Baptist Church in Fayetteville will host its Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be free food, fun games for kids, and inflatables including an inflatable rock wall. The church is at 1332 Ga. Hwy. 92 South, Fayetteville.

Prayer Walk planned in Grantville
The Grantville Baptist Church in Coweta County will sponsor a Prayer Walk through Grantville Saturday, Oct. 16 beginning at 10 a.m. Those wishing to participate are asked to meet at the church. For more information, call 770-583-2810.

All Nations health fair is Oct. 16
All Nations Church Atlanta will present is first 2010 Fall S.T.R.E.T.C.H. Fair Saturday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the All Nations Church lot, 1381 Ga. Hwy. 85, Fayetteville. The event will feature sereenings for blood pressure, cholesterol and vision, with booths set up for information on cancer, cardiovascular health, diabetes, massage therapy, health and fitness, lung health and nutrition. CDM plans seminar Oct. 16
Christ Discipleship Ministries, 114 W. Georgia Singers to perform at FFUMC
The Georgia Singers, a young ladies’ choral group made up primarily of singers from Fayette County, will perform at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church Sunday, Oct. 17, at the 11 a.m. service. The group is under the direction of Dr. Frank Green. FFUMC is in downtown Fayetteville, across from the Fayette County Courthouse.
