New Hope Baptist’s missions conference starts tonight, continues through Sunday

New Hope Baptist Church members are celebrating 10 years of mission work and invite the public to join them for their missions conference Sept. 22 – 26, as they celebrate “Send Me!”

The conference will begin at the North Campus, 551 New Hope Road, Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. with dinner highlighting an international menu. To make reservations call 770-461-4337.

Following dinner, Dr. Emir Caner, president of Truett McConnell College, will be the guest speaker for the opening service in the worship center.

A youth event featuring the Matt Papa Band is planned for Thursday evening in the South Campus Student Center.

An International Bazaar at the North Campus is planned for Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. offering a glimpse into the countries where New Hope has been on mission. The conference will conclude on Sunday.

There will be activities for families, the Matt Papa Band will perform and New Hope’s missionaries from around the world will be available to meet guests..

New Hope currently partners with ministries in Burkina Faso, Liberia, Wales, Nigeria, Japan, Thailand, Zimbabwe, Philippines, and Haiti.

Community ministries include Heart Cry, a ministry for foster and adoptive parents; Wellspring, Clowns with New Hope, A Better Way Ministries, New Hope Prison Ministry, the New Hope Garden and the New Hope Handymen.
